Welcome to my website! In celebration of National Women Small Business Month, I am thrilled to share my passion for empowering women entrepreneurs. As a dedicated small business owner, my mission is to provide valuable information and support to aspiring and established female business owners. Derron Cloud State Farm is Located in Basalt, Colorado, our office proudly serves the entire Roaring Fork Valley and all of Colorado, including Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, El Jebel, Glenwood Springs, Marble, Meredith, New Castle, Redstone, Snowmass, and Snowmass Village. We are here to take care of your insurance needs with a caring and compassionate approach.

I have been with State Farm since 2015 and am ready, along with my team, to assist you with Life, Auto, Home, Renters, Business, Condo, Boat, Motorcycle, and Pet Insurance. We are here to help protect all that is important to you, including farms, ranches, camping or travel trailers, ATVs, and all other recreational vehicles. As a small business owner myself, I understand how important it is to protect your business, and I assist with Commercial Insurance and workers’ compensation. We want to help make your insurance experience personal and straightforward, and we accommodate virtual appointments.

I am a proud resident of Roaring Fork Valley and have lived here since 2006. I graduated from Western Carolina University in North Carolina, so I have long considered the mountains to be home. My amazing wife, Mary, and I, along with our dog (Tuli), enjoy all the outdoor activities Colorado offers, particularly skiing, tennis, camping, mountain biking, dirt biking, and snowmobiling. We are especially looking forward to the Summer sports here in Colorado! Since the recent fires in Boulder, I have made it part of our mission to try to meet with every customer and make sure they are adequately protected in the event another unfortunate event occurs.

I also enjoy serving on the Board of the Basalt Chamber of Commerce, and occasionally umpiring some baseball around the valley. We are proud members of the Basalt High School Boosters, the Basalt Chamber of Commerce, the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, and the Aspen Chamber Resort Association! We enjoy supporting many of our local non profits like The Basalt Education Foundation, The Arts Center at Willits, Challenge Aspen, River Bridge Regional Center, Junior Achievement and many others!
